WAMsoc is a student led initiative aiming to equalise the platform for potential medical students. We work closely with the University and external groups to improve their chances and widen their aspirations.
We believe in the potential of every child to succeed and dream when given the right tools
Who are we?
Widening Access to Medicine Southampton was founded in 2015 by a group of Southampton medical students. What started of as a small group soon became an award winning society boasting 100+ mentors and even more members.
